The Unofficial Official Ponies and the Rainbow Summary

It is now March which means another month in 2020 has come and gone. Because well, that's how time works. Enough days go by and even
tually you start a new one. And with that, another month in the development of Ponies and the Rainbow has come and gone.

So what has transpired in the past 29 days? Well, the second draft has been officially completed for what it's worth. But that by no means indicates that the book is nearing completion. No, it simply means that it is a tad more complete on its way to completion. I am working out the next steps internally, but the next external piece of information I will give you is a more detailed preview of what to expect. Mainly, the story.

If you've been keeping track, you'll know the jist. You may have even read the UNEDITED excerpt I released at the beginning of the year. And if you did, you might even get a basic grasp of the story. Ponies living in a peace so peaceful they could never imagine the tragedy that would befall upon them. But what's the core of the story? What's the hook? Well, for that I will now release the unofficial summary of Ponies and the Rainbow and some early reviews from those who have been chosen as the lucky few to get an early sneak peak.

***

You know the drawing. The drawing every kid draws. A perfect utopia, grass on the ground, some trees sprouting from said ground, and a perfectly blue sunny sky with clouds overhead. On the ground, all manner of creature from bunnies, to smiley flowers with unevenly shaped pedals, to cats and dogs, to billy goats or horses, etcetera etcetera. Well now, that perfect utopia has a name.
Rainbowland is home to prosperity. And within the boundaries of Rainbowland, ponies. Tons and tons of ponies. Once a place of damnation, now reborn. All thanks to the cotton seed. Cotton seed grown and turned into the delicacy known as cotton candy. Nothing could be better. Except of course in the world of Larry, Bob, and the only pony in town with a last name, Allister McDonald. Their familial problems go way back because brothers will be brothers I suppose.
But now, it is up to Larry, Bob, and Allister McDonald to set aside their differences in brotherhood and band together to save not just their home, but as they will discover, the world along with it as mysterious forces from afar threaten everything they love. What terrifying secrets will they uncover along the way about the world around them? What horrifying secrets will they uncover about themselves? And why are there so many unfunny jokes as if the author thinks he has a sense of humor?
The epic, fantastical, emotional, moderately entertaining, mind-bending, and genre altering adventure begins here in Ponies and the Rainbow!
